máquina Pride + Roaster Tee
We are so proud to share this t-shirt with you! The front of the shirt shows our “máquina” logo with the Progressive Pride flag in the lettering. On the back of the shirt, you’ll see artwork by the incredible artist Phil Roberts. We sent Phil a photo of my roaster, and he created this beautiful art for us, which shows every detail of my roaster - even the Puerto Rico flag I have hanging on the side. Phil’s writing on the back of the t-shirt says, “Coffee that is full of stories. Coffee to connect with our roots, family, ourselves. Coffee for the circle of life. Coffee of the people & land. Puerto Rico. Máquina Coffee.”
About Phil Roberts: An artist with unlimited potential effortlessly tapping into the Creative Source and bundles of enthusiasm to share it, Phil Roberts was born this way. Phil's life mission to inspire through art was as clear as day since the day he picked up a pencil as a child. Four decades later, he still has that child-like spark for doing what he does best. Phil started out airbrush painting surf scenes on surfboards at age 15 in Florida for some of surfing's legendary champions. That led to being in surf magazines, which led to a 40-year career in Hollywood, illustrating movie posters for the studios of Paramount, Disney, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., and many independents. Phil's specialty is portraiture in any and every medium. The love for immortalizing the extraordinary human beings he portrays provides an endless energy source that fuels the fire of his life's mission until the day he drops. Follow Phil on Instagram and see his Etsy shop here.
The tee is a Bella + Canvas Triblend in Solid Black (70/15/15 airlume combed and ringspun cotton/polyester/rayon). It was is printed by Camden Printworks in Camden, NJ.
