Welcome! This is now the place where we'll share information on our coffees, our company's state, and our thoughts as we head into some uncharted waters in this country. The personal is political. Coffee is both personal and political. It cannot be separated; frankly, if we separate the two, we miss the point.

We have decided to use this blog to inform you about coffees, stories, and news of what is happening in the coffee world. It will also be a place of hope, compassion, and action.

We are moving away from Instagram (Meta) because it simply doesn't align with Maquina's values. We have already moved away from Facebook.

We are heading into uncharted waters in this country and facing things we haven't encountered before. I would like this blog to be a place of hope, inspiration, and valuable information. Coffee is a connective source and a ritual that can deeply unite us, if only for a moment. I want this blog to be a place where we can see each other as human beings with loved ones—dreams and aspirations.

We must not forget our ideals, that we need each other in our lives, that we must help one another when one of us is in need, and that we are in this together. Our differences should not divide us—in fact, our differences should help us remain curious about one another and should bring us closer together in connection.
